A direct-to-consumer skincare startup based out of Lahore, Pakistan, fuzed combines nature and science to manufacture 100% cruelty-free products and ships all over pakistan. Their team approached us for growth marketing partnership and we started working on migrating them from woocommerce to Shopify 2.0 design that converts.

Challenge

Online sales, CR and AOV were too low – and we needed to increase it by at least 250% to achieve promised results through paid campaigns and email funnels.

User Experience

Client already had a cool branding, product-line and social presence with 23k+ followers and they were selling retail & B2B but the DTC model needed serious work on the store’s user journey and experience. Building a converting UX was super important because our whole performance model was relying on the new design to get expected ROAS across all paid campaigns. 

Marketing ROAS

Previous woocommerce and Shopify stores online conversion rate was 0.6% and marketing ROAS were less than 1% across all paid networks. We needed to boost their ads ROAS to 4 with a conversion-friendly theme that has all must-have features and apps.

Discovery & Research

After onboarding, our design and growth teams started working on research, competitor analysis and moodboards. In a few days we had enough material to list down all must-have features and components that will improve conversion rate.

UX Design Prototype

Marketing, Social and SEO team had internal team calls to design sitemap, navigation, user flow and required apps. Later, the design team came up with their final draft that was ready for revisions and all comments were happily resolved.

Custom Theme Dev.

We migrated them to Shopify 2.0 and built a custom theme in liquid using dawn so it loads faster and converts better. Routine Finder, Email, Reviews, Cart, Chat, Tracking, Fulfillment and a couple of other apps were integrated successfully with the new theme.

Mobile-first Design

It’s pretty hard to convert cold traffic to an early skincare startup. We’ve built a responsive and mobile-friendly design that is faster than any paid theme and lowers bounce rate. They had 78% mobile users that was the biggest reason to keep it responsive-first.

Wireframes

Discovery and internal team calls were finally translated into wireframes to finalize store’s structure and conversion funnel. Existing and new landing pages architecture was locked in wireframes to start designing theme’s UI.

Prototype

We designed all wireframe’s final UI including Home, Collection, PDP, Cart, Blog, About, Contact, Routine Finder, Rewards Program & Results landing page and developed it as a new theme that’s almost 95% pixel perfect. Visit live store
