Sona Pharmacy, located in Asheville, NC is a trusted name in the pharmaceutical industry, dedicated to providing personalized and convenient pharmacy services to their community. They offer a range of healthcare products and services both in-store and online, focusing on patient care and wellness. To improve accessibility and reach a wider audience, they launched an online store to sell a curated selection of health and wellness products.

Challenges

The primary challenge was to boost subscription revenue by encouraging repeat purchases and fostering customer loyalty. The existing store design lacked the necessary elements to promote subscriptions effectively and did not fully leverage reviews and loyalty programs to enhance UX.

Our approach

To address these challenges, our team undertook a comprehensive revamp of Sona Pharmacy’s Shopify store, focusing on three key areas: UI/UX improvements, custom theme development, and the integration of subscription, reviews, and loyalty solutions.
We redesigned the online store with a clean, modern look that aligns with Sona Pharmacy’s brand ethos. The new design prioritized ease of navigation, with a simplified layout that guides users smoothly through the shopping process. Product pages were redesigned to provide more detailed information, high-quality images, and easy access to subscription options.
To boost subscription revenue, we integrated features such as one-click subscriptions, recurring billing, and customizable subscription plans directly into the product pages. These features made it easier for customers to subscribe to products they need regularly, such as vitamins and supplements. The checkout process was simplified to reduce cart abandonment and improve conversion rates.
We implemented a robust review system that allows customers to leave feedback on products they have purchased. A comprehensive loyalty program was developed to reward repeat purchases and encourage customer retention.
